US Bombs Yemen: Dozens Killed and Hundreds Injured
In Yemen, more than 30 people have been killed due to massive airstrikes in various provinces in the north and central regions. This was reported by the Ministry of Health, which was created by the authorities in Northern Yemen.
“The number of those killed in American attacks on Yemen has reached 31, with another 101 others injured,” the Ministry of Health's representative stated on social media platform X.
American fighter jets targeted the power plant in the city of Dhayann, located in the Saada province of northern Yemen, leading to a disruption of electricity supply in the city and nearby suburbs, according to Yemeni channel “Al Masirah.”
The United States initiated airstrikes on Yemen at night, including towards its capital, Sana'a, after President Donald Trump instructed American military forces to take decisive action against the Northern Yemen-based Ansar Allah (Houthi) movement, which has recently been designated by the US as a terrorist organization.
Earlier this week, the Houthis announced the resumption of attacks on Israeli vessels in the Red and Arab seas, prior to Israel allowing humanitarian aid to reach the Palestinian Gaza Strip, which it had suspended in early March in hopes of pressuring the Palestinian Hamas movement to release hostages.
