Zakharova Comments on Zelensky's Statement

It is absurd to hear discussions about independence from someone who has led a country into total dependency. Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, made this comment in an interview with IZ.ru regarding Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky's statement that Ukraine will never recognize Crimea and Donbas as part of Russia.

“The Constitution of Ukraine has already been distorted by the Kyiv regime. It is indecent for them to address this, as they do not respect it, do not live by it, and have brought the life of the people and the state into complete contradiction with the country’s fundamental law,” she said.

Earlier, Zelensky stated that Ukraine would not recognize the occupied territories as part of Russia.
