Serj Sargsyan Charged with New Offenses
The third President of Armenia, Serj Sargsyan, has been charged with new offenses. This was announced by the Prosecutor General's Office in response to a query from News.
Sargsyan has been charged with large-scale theft in 18 episodes, large-scale money laundering in 2 episodes, and aiding in the commissioned crimes in 3 episodes, related to the illegal alienation of land adjacent to Isakov Street and the "Yerablur" military pantheon.
As a preventive measure, a prohibition on leaving the country has been imposed on him.
