Lavrov Calls Napoleon and Hitler Predecessors of Macron
Russia considers French President Emmanuel Macron's statements about nuclear weapons a threat. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
“Of course, this is a threat against Russia. If he considers us a threat, he will convene a meeting of the Chiefs of Staff of European countries and Britain. He says it is necessary to use nuclear weapons, that he is preparing to use nuclear weapons against Russia. This is, of course, a threat,” Lavrov said.
Lavrov referred to Napoleon and Hitler as predecessors of Macron, who also wanted to fight against Russia. The head of the Foreign Ministry noted that no one prevents Macron from calling Putin.
