UK and France Work on New Peace Agreement for Ukraine
The UK and France are working on a draft for a new peace agreement regarding Ukraine. The decision was made after the dispute between Zelensky and Trump at the White House.
UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer stated to the BBC that one or two additional countries could participate in the drafting of the agreement, after which they will present the program to the United States.
Starmer outlined three essential conditions for peace: a strong Ukraine, armed with all necessary military technologies to defend against potential aggression; security guarantees from Europe; and US involvement in securing those guarantees.
Starmer also expressed his belief in Trump when he says he wants to end the war, while noting that Zelensky was right during their dispute.
"He is a person who leads a country and has been fighting for three years. What is happening is the obvious aggression of Russia," said the UK Prime Minister.
