Pope Francis Diagnosed with Bilateral Pneumonia
Pope Francis is suffering from bilateral pneumonia. This was stated in a message from the Holy See's press service, reports TASS.
“A chest CT scan conducted this afternoon has revealed the onset of bilateral pneumonia, which requires further medical treatment,” the statement said.
It is noted that the 88-year-old pontiff's overall condition is stable, although “the overall clinical picture remains complicated.”
