As of the end of January, there are 318 foreign nationals being held in Armenian correctional facilities. This information comes from the Corrections Service of the Ministry of Justice of Armenia in response to a written inquiry from Sputnik Armenia.
The breakdown of detained individuals by nationality is as follows:

- Georgia - 28
- Egypt - 13
- Afghanistan - 12
- Turkey - 10
