Netanyahu Has Threatened Iran
US President Donald Trump is "the greatest friend Israel has ever had in the White House," Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio at the beginning of a joint press conference following an awkward embrace. This was reported by the Times of Israel.
According to Netanyahu, he and the US Secretary of State had a very productive discussion with staff on various issues. "None is more important than Iran. Israel and America stand shoulder to shoulder in confronting the Iranian threat. We agree that we cannot allow the ayatollahs to have nuclear weapons. We also agreed that Iran's aggression in the region must be stopped," Netanyahu declared.
According to him, with Trump's support, "we can finish the job." Earlier, Iran has repeatedly stated that it has no intention of developing nuclear weapons.
