What Discussion Did Pashinyan Have with the President of the European Council?
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, during the Munich Security Conference. One of the key topics of their discussion was the Armenia-European Union cooperation agenda.
Pashinyan emphasized the EU's continued support for the consistent advancement of democratic reforms in Armenia. He highlighted that the full implementation of the reform agenda is one of the Government's priorities. “Armenia values the expansion and development of multilateral ties with the EU to enhance capacities in various sectors,” said the Prime Minister.
Charles Michel welcomed the steps taken by the Armenian Government aimed at strengthening democracy and implementing institutional reforms. The President of the European Council expressed the EU’s commitment to enhancing a partnership based on shared values and deepening cooperation in all areas.
The interlocutors also discussed the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the possibilities for unblocking regional communication routes, and issues related to the Armenian Government's
