US Vice President Cancels Meeting with Scholz
US Vice President Jay D. Vance has canceled a planned meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz during the Munich Security Conference, according to Politico.
Vance's team indicated that while the meeting was scheduled, it could not take place due to a scheduling conflict with the German side. "The leaders of both countries were in discussions about holding an additional meeting in Munich, but unfortunately, that meeting has not been confirmed due to issues with the existing schedule," stated Scholz's press secretary, William Martin.
