Valuyev Comments on Azerbaijan Entry Ban
Member of Parliament and boxer Nikolai Valuyev does not consider the entry ban to Azerbaijan as a provocation. He stated this in an interview with RIA Novosti.
“I do not see this as a provocation. The East is a sensitive issue. Any leader, from the East, such as Azerbaijan, is still considered an Eastern Republic, must correspond to its established historical traditions. First and foremost, he represents and defends his people, there are his regulations and statutes,” said Valuyev.
He noted that it is currently difficult to comment on this situation as there are no official documents. Additionally, Valuyev added that he has always defended and will continue to defend Russian rights not only in voice but also in culture.
It should be noted that the spokesperson for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, Ayhan Hacizade, announced that the Azerbaijani authorities have banned State Duma member Nikolai Valuyev from entering the country.
