Illegal Immigrants in Russia Can Avoid Deportation
Illegal immigrants in Russia must apply to the police or the 'Sakharovo' migration center by April 30 to legalize their stay in the country and avoid deportation. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
"From January 1 to April 30, 2025, President Putin's decree No. 1126 is in effect, allowing individuals to legalize their stay in Russia without the risk of deportation or entry bans," the statement said.
This decree applies to foreigners who have been in Russia for more than three months without a visa or work permit, those with expired or unpaid permits, as well as individuals who do not have temporary residence or residence permits.
