Funds Have Been Spent, Most of It Fraudulently: Trump
The reform decisions of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) are irreversible, and corruption is at an unprecedented level, said U.S. President Donald Trump.
“Radical leftists are going crazy over USAID. And they can do nothing about it, as funds have been spent, most of it fraudulently. This is absolutely unacceptable. Corruption is at an unseen level. Shut it down,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
Earlier, American diplomatic and civil service unions had filed lawsuits demanding the cancellation of Trump’s decisions regarding the USAID.
