How Much Money Did Tsarukyan Spend to Prepare for the Fight Against Makhachev?

The top-ranked lightweight in the UFC, Arman Tsarukyan, revealed how much money he spent preparing for his title fight against the current champion Islam Makhachev in the same weight class. This was reported by ArmSport.

In an interview with the JAXXON Podcast, Tsarukyan said, “In the last training camp, my team consisted of 15 people, including 4 coaches and 11 sparring partners. The two-week camp cost me $20,000, while a month’s preparation would be $40,000. Additionally, the flights and salaries of the coaches amounted to around $15,000 to $16,000.”

It’s worth noting that last week, Tsarukyan and Makhachev were scheduled to compete for the UFC championship belt, but Arman had to withdraw from the fight due to a back injury.
