Road Conditions in Armenia

The Rescue Service informs that there are closed roads in the territory of Armenia.

The roads leading from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station to Kari Lake and Amberd Fortress are closed in the Aragatsotn region. There are patches of black ice on the roads in the Aparan region and the Aragats-Aparan highway.

Snow is falling in the cities of Tsaghkadzor and Hrazdan, as well as in the villages of Lanjak, Lusashogh, and Lanjanist, and at the turns of Spitak and Tigranakert.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.

Regarding Lars, according to information from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs' Emergency Department and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed to trucks.
