Closed Roads in Armenia

The Emergency Situations Service reports that there is a closed road in the territory of Armenia. The road from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station to the Kary Lake is closed in the Aragatsotn region.

The Vardenyats Pass is impassable for all types of vehicles. In the Ashtarak region, there is snow in the towns of Hrazdan, Charentsavan, Echmiadzin, Sevan, Vardenis, and Chambarak, as well as in the Tigranashen bends and sections known as "Meghri Sarr" and Gorayk-"Zanger".

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires. According to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Russian EMERCOM's North Ossetia crisis management center, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed for all types of vehicles.
