Suspect Leaves Manifesto at Magdeburg Christmas Market Attack
A manifesto has been discovered in the vehicle of the perpetrator of the attack at the Christmas market in Magdeburg, Germany, according to the German magazine Der Spiegel.
Taleb al-Abdulmohsen, a citizen of Saudi Arabia, reportedly intended to die at the crime scene, the article states. It is noted that there are no political statements in the manifesto.
According to the publication, it is believed that the assailant planned to take his own life at the location of the crime. Additionally, it was reported that the attacker had written on his social media page in May 2024 that he was planning to die “this year.”
