Pashinyan Invites Macron to Armenia
The Government's press service reports that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a congratulatory message to the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, on the occasion of his birthday.
“Dear Mr. President, cherished Emmanuel, I warmly congratulate you on your birthday and wish you good health, unwavering will, and success for the benefit of France and the French people. I would like to express my special gratitude for the fact that during your presidency and through your undeniable commitment, the privileged relations between Armenia and France, based on the centuries-old friendship and common values uniting our two peoples, have now entered a new significant phase, transforming into a true strategic partnership.
I fondly remember my visit to Paris on December 7 and my participation in the touching and symbolic ceremony of the opening of the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris. I also want to express my gratitude to our friendly France and to your personal efforts and continuous support aimed at strengthening Armenia's sovereignty, resilience, and democracy, as well as establishing lasting and just peace in the South Caucasus region.
Taking advantage of this beautiful occasion, I want to congratulate you on the upcoming year-end holidays – Christmas and the New Year – wishing you victories in all your initiatives in the coming year, and to the friendly French people, peace and prosperity. I look forward to welcoming you to Armenia next year, please accept, dear Mr. President, the assurance of my highest respect.”
