Saratov-Yerevan Flight Pilot Confuses Landing Location
An actual disaster could have occurred in the aviation sector on Saturday. According to reliable information from 24News, the pilot of the "Shirak Avia" flight from Saratov to Yerevan did not land the aircraft at the "Zvartnots" airport as required, but at "Erebuni," which is designated for military use. Furthermore, based on the information received, the pilot did not have to make this decision but did so by mistake. This "error" could have been fatal for both the crew and the passengers of the aircraft.
24News has contacted the Civil Aviation Committee, from where it was promised they would respond to inquiries regarding the incident later. However, a comment from "Shirak Avia" has not yet been obtained.
According to reports, after landing at "Erebuni," the aircraft took off again to "Zvartnots," where passengers underwent a thorough inspection under strict supervision, and all faces were photographed.
