The National Progress Party Breaks Alliance with Hayk Marutyan
The National Progress Party has severed its alliance with Hayk Marutyan, as reported by ArmLur.am.
It is noteworthy that former Mayor Hayk Marutyan ran in the 2023 Yerevan City Council elections under the list of the National Progress Party. However, following his loss of mandate, he established a new party called 'New Force.'
Hayk Grigoryan, the leader of the National Progress Party, announced that the alliance with Hayk Marutyan has been broken for several months now. The reasons cited are political disagreements regarding activities in the city council, as well as other issues, including disagreements over a petition initiated by Hayk Marutyan against the increase in transportation costs.
