Putin Responds to Lukashenko's Request
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has requested Russian President Vladimir Putin to deploy the "Oreshnik" system in Belarus. "I want to publicly ask you to position the new weapon systems, primarily the 'Oreshnik', in the territory of Belarus," Lukashenko addressed Putin.
In response, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the "Oreshnik" could be deployed in Belarus in the second half of 2025, as its production is increasing.
