Weightlifter Simon Martirosyan Will Not Compete in World Championship
Member of the Armenian national weightlifting team, two-time Olympic silver medalist, world and European champion Simon Martirosyan will not participate in the World Championship. This was reported by the National Olympic Committee of Armenia.
Due to an injury, Simon Martirosyan will not be competing in the super heavyweight category at the championship starting on December 6 in Manama, Bahrain. The Armenian team will participate with nine athletes.
