Actress Svetlana Svetlichnaya Has Passed Away

Actress Svetlana Svetlichnaya, known for her role in the film "The Diamond Arm," has passed away. The news of her death was reported by film critic Susanna Alperina.

"Svetlana Svetlichnaya has passed away. The first beauty of the USSR, the phrase 'Не виноватая я! Он сам пришел!' has followed her throughout her life. Nowadays, it would be called a meme," she stated. Alperina emphasized that the artist will forever remain in the hearts of many.

Svetlichnaya had serious health issues. Since 2017, she had been under the care of a psychiatric clinic. She suffered from Alzheimer’s disease, and in the summer of 2024, she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. The actress was 84 years old.
