Steve Jobs Compared to a Great Tyrant
The General Director of Russia’s "First Channel," Konstantin Ernst, criticized Steve Jobs for the invention of the iPhone during a symposium titled "Creating the Future" at the "Rossiya" National Center. He compared the businessman to Adolf Hitler.
"I believe that the iPhone is an extremely harmful and monstrous thing for humanity," he stated, pointing out that the iPhone has destroyed the world of human connections. "Now you don't visit your parents, but call them. Sometimes this allows you to avoid visiting them for months or even years. You are also reducing your contact with friends through calls and then SMS, as making calls has become culturally obsolete in terms of etiquette."
To me, fundamentally, Steve Jobs personally belongs to a category of figures where Adolf Hitler is far less significant than him.
Judging by photos online, Konstantin Ernst and his family actively use products from Apple themselves.
