Video: Is there a mortal on this planet who could extort me? Arush Arushanyan
"Is there a mortal on this planet who could extort me?" said Arush Arushanyan, the mayor of Goris, during a conversation with reporters.
A journalist questioned Arushanyan, asking, "There are rumors in the capital that some deal was made in exchange for not being detained. Have you transferred any properties belonging to you to any well-known individuals? Is this about extortion?" In response, Arushanyan stated, "Is someone going to extort me? And do you think there’s a mortal on this planet who could do that? I don't know why people are talking; ask those who are speaking."
The mayor of Goris refuted the information, saying, "Are we living in North Korea? I am unaware of that." In response to a follow-up question from the journalist regarding whether this was about specific properties and specific individuals, Arush Arushanyan answered, "Neither has it happened nor can it happen."
