EU Presents Ultimatum to Georgia
The head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, has presented an ultimatum to Georgia regarding its accession to the EU: repeal the law on "Family Values." The European diplomat has also expressed dissatisfaction with the law on foreign agents.
Borrell additionally stated that close relations with Russia cannot coincide with membership in the European Union. "We are offering Georgia a specific plan to annul the 'Law on Transparency of Foreign Influence,'" the head of EU diplomacy noted.
