Criminal Proceedings Initiated Over Incident Involving Hovik Aghazaryan and Argishti Kyaramyan
Criminal proceedings have been initiated regarding an incident involving Hovik Aghazaryan, an MP from the ruling party, and Argishti Kyaramyan, the head of the Investigative Committee, according to a statement from the Prosecutor General's Office to News.am.
The agency noted that a criminal case has been opened at the Anti-Corruption Committee under the first part of Article 486 of the RA Criminal Code related to the statements made by Argishti Kyaramyan.
"A criminal case has been initiated at the Anti-Corruption Committee under the first part of Article 486 of the Criminal Code (Interference with the administration of justice or the examination of a case) (two episodes), concerning Kyaramyan's statements regarding petitions," the Prosecutor's Office stated.
The incident involving Hovik Aghazaryan and Argishti Kyaramyan in Parliament has led to the initiation of criminal proceedings at the Anti-Corruption Committee pertaining to the statements made by Kyaramyan.
