Peskov on the Conversation Between Pashinyan and Aliyev
“The conversation between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during the BRICS summit did not hinder the progress of the event.” This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of Russian President Vladimir Putin, who also added that international meetings are always used for bilateral communication.
It is noteworthy that the camera captured Pashinyan and Aliyev actively discussing something during the summit, joined by the foreign ministers of both countries. Importantly, while Pashinyan and Aliyev were seated next to each other at the event, there is no separate bilateral meeting planned at this time.
