Baku Court Extends the Detention of Ruben Vardanyan
Baku has extended the detention period of Ruben Vardanyan, the former State Minister of Artsakh and businessman. Azerbaijani media report this news.
Vardanyan has been in detention for over a year. In Azerbaijan, he is accused of financing terrorism, creating and participating in armed groups not provided for by law, and illegally crossing the state border of Azerbaijan.
It is noteworthy that earlier, the Baku court extended for four months the detention periods of Arayik Harutyunyan, Arkadi Ghukasyan, Bako Sahakyan, Ruben Vardanyan, and other detained former officials of Artsakh.
