Azerbaijan Implements a Policy of Threat of Force Against Armenia, Says Hayrapetyan
Armenian expert on Azerbaijan Tatevik Hayrapetyan has written on her Facebook page: “The head of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense, Zakir Hasanov, has summoned the leadership of the Azerbaijani army to analyze the operational situation. According to widespread media reports, ‘corresponding instructions have been given regarding the constant maintenance of troops at a high level of combat readiness, as well as the preparedness to take preventive measures against all possible provocations of revanchist forces at the conditional border.’”
She added, “In my view, Azerbaijan is very clearly implementing a policy of threat of force against Armenia. At a time when Prime Minister Pashinyan’s government has made every possible and impossible concession to Azerbaijan in hopes of tearing a piece of paper, Azerbaijan is trying to eliminate any possibility of signing any document through both propaganda and political and diplomatic means since Aliyev finds it very convenient to receive the maximum without giving anything in return. To see Pashinyan as a ‘revanchist’ requires a special kind of imagination, of course...”
It should be noted that today a working meeting was held at the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan under the leadership of Minister Zakir Hasanov.
