Israel Leaves No Exit for Lebanese: AP
Israel's strike has blocked the route through which thousands of Lebanese are fleeing to Syria. This was reported by The Associated Press.
Due to the Israeli airstrike, the road from Lebanon to Damascus has been closed, which tens of thousands of Lebanese have been using to escape the military actions in Syria over the past two weeks.
According to the agency, the road is shut down near the 'Masnaa' checkpoint. The agency also clarifies that this is the first time during the current conflict in the region that operations at such a major border crossing have been halted.
Earlier, Israeli military officials had accused the 'Hezbollah' movement of using the 'Masnaa' checkpoint to smuggle weapons into Lebanon.
