Families of Russian Diplomats Evacuated from Lebanon
An aircraft from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, which delivered humanitarian cargo to Lebanon, has evacuated the families of diplomats back to their homeland. It is reported that the evacuation was carried out on the orders of Russian President Vladimir Putin and in accordance with the directive of Russian Minister of Emergency Situations Alexander Kurenkov.
Today, 60 compatriots will be transported to Russia. The Russian EMERCOM IL-76 had brought 33 tons of humanitarian aid to Beirut for the residents of Lebanon affected by Israeli shelling. The humanitarian cargo included food, essential items, and medication.
