Investigation into Artsakh Leaders Completed in Baku: What Awaits Them
The investigation into the criminal case against the former military-political leadership of Artsakh has been completed. Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev has stated that there are "numerous victims" involved in the case.
The former leaders of Artsakh have been charged with serious offenses, including the "destruction of historical and cultural monuments." According to the prosecutor, the case will be sent to court after the defendants familiarize themselves with the materials.
Kamran Aliyev stated that "all rights are guaranteed, and each of them has the right to several lawyers and to review the case materials." It should be noted that, according to official data, 23 Armenian prisoners are being held in Azerbaijan, 17 of whom were captured as a result of the aggression in 2023. This includes the military-political leadership of Artsakh.
