The Culture of Conducting 'Last Bell' Celebrations in Schools Will Change
We will be changing the culture of organizing events in schools. This was stated by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, Zhanna Andreasyan, during a press conference.
'I believe we have a problem, and the ceremonies of the last bell do not always reflect the values and emphases defined by the standards that we want to see in schools. We need to transition from a bourgeois environment to the real values that should be the content of our school. We will also involve professionals from our cultural sector and announce a competition titled 'Best Cultural Last Bell'. Participation of schools will be voluntary, but I believe this will encourage an environment that will allow children to create much more than scripted, ready-made, and empty scenarios. Children can perform on the school stage much more qualitatively than they can with words written by someone else and handed to them,' emphasized Zhanna Andreasyan.
