USA to Provide Armenia with $130 Million: Details on Fund Allocation Revealed
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) will provide Armenia with a grant worth $130 million. A draft decision regarding the acceptance of this proposal was approved during a meeting of the Armenian government.
This modification is intended to be implemented based on the 'Development Cooperation Grant Agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the United States of America' signed on June 29, 2022, between the Armenian government and USAID.
It is expected that the additional financial allocations will be directed towards institutionalizing effective and accountable governance. They will also contribute to maintaining democratic achievements and overcoming economic challenges,” the decision states.
Thus, the overall planned investment by USAID will reach $250 million.
