Gagik Tsarukyan Fined
The president of the Prosperous Armenia party, Gagik Tsarukyan, has been fined 100,000 drams by the Corruption Prevention Commission.
Tsarukyan's lawyer, Emin Khachatryan, stated in an interview with a reporter from Hraparak that this is not a significant issue; rather, "the territory has been given to the Prosperous Armenia party by the Yerevan Ararat Municipal Enterprise (Yerevan Ararat KGO) without compensation, while the law stipulates that it should have been leased. The matter has now been resolved, and a corresponding agreement has been signed."
