Arush Arushanyan Has Two Options: 'Hraparak'
We have legally illiterate officials. The court has banned Arush Arushanyan from holding a public office for five years, which, according to lawyers, is illegal and contradicts other laws. This was reported by the newspaper 'Hraparak'.
“Yesterday, the Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan said, ‘There are two options: either our esteemed mayor resigns, or the council has the authority to express a lack of confidence based on this.’ But isn’t it true that the ruling does not state that a person must resign, and the council is not a subject of executing the ruling? The court can only impose punishment on the defendant in a criminal case, not on third parties,” the newspaper reports.
