Medvedev Urges Macron to Urgently Leave France
Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, humorously stated that French President Emmanuel Macron should urgently leave the country, as the army of followers of Pavel Durov, the founder of Telegram, would be coming after him following the entrepreneur's arrest by French law enforcement.
“Macron, get out of France, Durov's army is coming for you,” Medvedev wrote on his page on X.
It is noted that Telegram founder Pavel Durov was detained after being brought in from Le Bourget airport in Paris. Durov had arrived in France on a private jet from Baku. It later emerged that the entrepreneur had been arrested.
According to French media reports, Durov, who holds French citizenship, was on a wanted list in the country. The request for his arrest was issued by the French juvenile crime department based on the ongoing investigation.
