Video: Pashinyan on Taxists Providing Electronic Cash Register Receipts
Starting from September 1, taxi drivers are obligated to provide customers with electronic cash register receipts. The project presented by the State Revenue Committee of Armenia was approved at today's government meeting.
The head of the SRC, Rustam Badasyan, stated that individual drivers providing taxi services can register on the 'I Am' platform to obtain a taxpayer identification number and generate electronic cash registers.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan noted that all citizens, including taxi drivers, should participate in addressing the needs of the state in accordance with the law. He emphasized, 'The 20 dram tax that our taxi drivers are required to pay will help us build roads, ensure traffic safety, and secure customers for themselves.'
