Video: 58 Cases of West Nile Virus Detected in Armenia; New Details
In Armenia, 58 cases of West Nile virus have been detected, with 41 patients currently hospitalized. This information was shared today during a conversation with reporters by the director of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Stepan Atoyan.
Atoyan noted that the first case was identified on August 7 in the Aragatsotn Province.
“Among the 41 patients, four are in serious condition, while the others are in moderate condition,” he stated, adding that all of them are from the Aragatsotn region.
