Several Men Attack Ukrainian Border Guards, Steal Their Weapons and Grenades, Flee to Romania

Several men attacked Ukrainian border guards, stealing their weapons and grenades before fleeing to Romania, reports PresaSM.

They have since been arrested by Romanian police. According to local media, the Ukrainians are currently hiding in the forests and are seeking political asylum.

It is noted that Romanian border guards were notified at 13:35 local time that Ukrainian border guards had been attacked by unidentified individuals, three of whom illegally crossed into Romania in the Tarnava Mare region.

According to PresaSM, the Ukrainian side reported the detention of one suspect who failed to cross the border.
