Weather Forecast for the Coming Days

In the territory of the Republic of Armenia, on August 2-3, short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected mainly at night and in the afternoon. The wind will be coming from the southwest at 2-5 m/s, with an increase to 18-23 m/s during thunderstorms.

This information has been reported by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

In the evening hours, in Armavir, as well as in the foothills of Kotayk and Aragatsotn, wind intensification is expected at a speed of 14-18 m/s.

In Yerevan, on August 2-3, brief rain and thunderstorms are possible in certain areas of the city at night and in the evening hours. On the 4th and 5th, dry weather is anticipated. Wind intensification is also expected during thunderstorms, reaching 18-22 m/s, and in the evening hours at 14-18 m/s.

The air temperature in the capital today will reach 31-33 degrees during the day and drop to 25-27 degrees in the evening.
