Israel Calls on NATO to Remove Turkey from Alliance
Israel's Foreign Minister on Monday urged NATO to remove Turkey from the organization, a move that is likely to further escalate tensions between the countries, according to Reuters.
In light of Turkish President Erdogan's threats to invade Israel and his dangerous rhetoric, Foreign Minister Israel Katz has instructed diplomats to urgently collaborate with all NATO members to condemn Turkey and demand the country's removal from the regional alliance.
Earlier, Erdogan had threatened to invade Israel, similar to his actions in Nagorno-Karabakh and Libya. In response, Israel's Foreign Minister has compared Erdogan to the executed Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein, reminding of his fate.
