Artsakh Residents Have the Right to Return: French Ambassador to Azerbaijan's Ambassador
Artsakh residents have the right to return. The French Ambassador to Armenia, Olivier Décot, made this statement in response to the head of the Azerbaijani diplomatic mission in the Netherlands.
On social media, a remote debate was sparked by the French diplomat's post, where he quoted the statement made by a host of 'France 2' during the opening of the Olympic Games. The Azerbaijani representative in Amsterdam did not approve of this and criticized Décot in a subsequent post.
In response, Décot chose to speak up and reminded Rəhman Mustafaev of the legal rights of the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh, which are enshrined by the international court.
