Maria Zakharova Hopes All Remaining Disagreements Between Armenia and Azerbaijan Will Soon Be Resolved
The representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, indicated during a press briefing that Russia remains steadfast in its position regarding the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan and is ready to provide support.
“Naturally, the extent and form of that support must be acceptable to each party. Moscow has repeatedly acknowledged the phases of negotiations regarding a peace treaty and is prepared to do so in the future as well. We guarantee the most comfortable conditions for the work of both delegations. At the same time, we welcome the efforts of our Kazakh partners,” Zakharova stated, expressing hope that all remaining disagreements will soon be resolved.
Zakharova added that the fate of the South Caucasus should be determined exclusively by the countries of the region and neighboring partner states.
