Joint Military Exercises Launched Involving Iran, Russia, Azerbaijan, and Other Caspian Countries
Joint search and rescue military exercises have commenced in the Caspian Sea on July 22. According to the Iranian Mehr news agency, all five coastal countries of the Caspian Sea will participate in this significant maritime event organized by the Northern Navy of the Iranian Navy.
The objective of the exercises is to strengthen regional cooperation and enhance the readiness of participating countries for search and rescue operations. The participating countries include Iran, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Azerbaijan.
Representatives from the Caspian countries, including the Islamic Republic of Iran, Azerbaijan, and Russia, will observe various phases of the exercises.
