Israel Orders Palestinians to Leave Humanitarian Zone in Gaza
Israeli authorities have ordered Palestinians to leave the humanitarian zone in the Gaza Strip, where they have been sheltering from military operations.
Israel has announced plans to commence operations against militants who have established themselves in that area and are using it to launch rockets towards the Jewish state. Earlier this month, Israel stated that approximately one million Palestinians were located in the humanitarian zone.
According to data from the UN and humanitarian organizations, a significant portion of the area is now occupied by tent camps, lacking sanitation and healthcare facilities, while access to aid is limited.
