Explosion in a Building in Yerevan Leaves One Injured

On July 22, at approximately 21:10, the National Crisis Management Center of the Republic of Armenia received a report of an explosion heard on the fifth floor of building number 39 on Artashisyan Street. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.

It was determined that the explosion occurred in apartment number 35 on the fifth floor, injuring a man aged 60-65. Medical personnel are providing first aid on-site and it is possible that he will be transferred to a hospital.

Investigation revealed that the explosion damaged three interior walls of the apartment, as well as the balcony, and shattered the windows of apartments number 34 and number 36.

A criminal case has been initiated in the Shengavit investigative department regarding the incident, and the identities of the injured individual and the owners of the damaged apartments are currently being established.
