Portuguese national team forward Cristiano Ronaldo has stated that this will be his last European Championship. This was reported by Armsport.am.

"This will be my last Euro, of course. But it’s not that that worries me, but the excitement. I felt sorry for the fans. I will always give everything for this shirt, regardless of whether I miss it or not. And I will do that for my whole life. One must bear responsibility," Ronaldo's words are quoted by journalist Fabrizio Romano on his social media page.

Recall that in the Round of 16 of Euro 2024, the Portuguese national team defeated the Slovenian team in a penalty shootout. During the match, Ronaldo missed a penalty, but was able to score against Jan Oblak in the post-match shootout.
