Death Toll Reaches 14 in Residential Building Collapse in Egypt
The death toll from the collapse of a residential building in Egypt's Asyut governorate has reached 14, according to reports from Al Ahram newspaper.
According to the publication, rescue operations lasted more than 24 hours. Six individuals have been injured and are receiving treatment in the hospital.
Preliminary assessments suggest that the collapse may have been caused by numerous cracks in the facade, along with improper renovations to the front section of the building.
